Character files / Classes & careers

Six ways in.
Your story from there.

Fixer. Netrunner. Solo. Tech. Medtech. Nomad. Choose your starting class in game, then find the work and people that make it yours.

Your class is a starting point.

The class picker saves your choice and normally assigns its matching profession at recruit grade. Existing employment takes priority. Selecting a class does not put you on duty or grant a senior rank; use /service when you are ready to work.

Your saved class and current profession can differ. After setup, /class or Inventory → Class & character shows your dossier.

01 / CONTACTS / CONTRACTS

Fixer

Fixer

YOUR PLAYBOOK

Build your network.

Work the city's contract boards: deliveries, retrievals, job orders, and bounties. As an on-duty Fixer, fund and post work for other players, then bring your contacts together to get it done.

FIND YOUR WORK

  2. 02

Visit a fixer point and press E for the contract board.

  4. 04

/contractsFind the board and available work
/contractTrack your held contracts

You can hold up to two fixer-board contracts. Completed contracts build fixer reputation; abandoning or missing a deadline can reduce it.

02 / BREACH / INTELLIGENCE

Netrunner

Netrunner

YOUR PLAYBOOK

Follow the signal.

Accept a breach assignment, bring data chips, and reach the assigned terminal. A successful breach produces a data shard to deliver; failure can trigger a trace, alert NCPD, and lock the terminal temporarily.

03 / SECURITY / PROTECTION

YOUR PLAYBOOK

04 / HARDWARE / WORKSHOP

Tech

Techie

YOUR PLAYBOOK

Make something valuable.

Buy or trade for parts, strip them into workshop components, then assemble finished hardware. Sell weapon mods, supply cyberware components, or trade directly with other players. Recipes depend on your bench, materials, and job grade.

05 / TRAUMA TEAM / RESPONSE

Medtech

Trauma Team

YOUR PLAYBOOK

Answer the call.

Start in Trauma Team. Work live medical dispatch, take or assist a response call, stabilise a downed player, and use the evacuation prompt to transfer them to Vik's clinic. Coverage plans and treatment billing are part of the medical system.

06 / TRANSPORT / SMUGGLING

Nomad

Nomad

YOUR PLAYBOOK

Keep the convoy moving.

Take a camp route, carry the crates into a truck you can use, and drive to the drop. Unload each crate and hand it to the fence, or arrange a player sale. Cargo, deadlines, and NCPD checkpoints give every run something at stake.

FIND YOUR WORK

Clock in as a Nomad with /service. Use /nomad camp to find the camp.

  2. 02

  4. 04

Follow the route, unload the cargo, and deliver each crate to the fence.

/nomad campLocate the Aldecaldos camp
/nomad statusCheck the convoy and its cargo

Keep an eye on the deadline and protect the cargo. NCPD checkpoints can search contraband; losing the truck or a crate can disrupt the run.

BEYOND YOUR STARTING CLASS

More ways to make a living.

Employment is its own system.
A career can take you somewhere new.

Use /jobs to inspect professions. Visit the employment agency at Kabuki Gallery for civilian positions; restricted professions need an employer or staff. Job grades run from recruit to employee, senior, and boss. Progression and permissions come from employment, rather than a shared class XP ladder.
